A professional photographer by training, Ali started her career in Chicago in 2010, specializing in lifestyle and social photography. She trail blazed as an early adopter of social media, helping clients understand the powerful relationship between photography, marketing, and the strategic use of imagery. Over the years, Ali has worked with brands such as Canon, Arhaus, Nordstrom, McKenzie-Childs, Nike, Kobi Halperin,The Peninsula Hotels, HOKA, and many more while working as a photographer, content creator and influencer.

After 11 years of building a strong niche, Ali founded The Studio Chicago in 2021 to give creatives a home and better support the community.
The Studio is Chicago’s premier creative hub, offering not only an expert team of artists but also a meticulously curated rental photo studio for everything from production and branding shoots, intimate events, educational programming and workshops, all while being a place to collaborate, network, inspire, and create. 

To date, The Studio has supported over 2,000 brands and businesses, fostering a dynamic environment for creativity to flourish. Ali believes in the power of community, collaboration over competition, and the importance of an inclusive, welcoming space. She is dedicated to supporting artists, creatives and businesses both in Chicago and beyond, creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
